Camp is coming!!!

Wow! I haven't written on here in forever! Sorry about that. Just wanted to let you know that camp is coming up on Thursday and I have a few reminders. First, don't forget your secret sisters. You will get your secret sister name on the morning that we leave for camp. The gifts should be simple, so we are suggesting that you come with 3 gifts for less than $5 total. Hit the dollar store. Candy is always good. Second, you may if you want and your ready, drop off your stuff to Sis. Ellgrens house on Wednesday. We are taking a load of supplies and stuff up to the cabin the day before. So if you want you can bring it over there and it will be there when you get there.
Third, a lunch! Don't forget to bring a lunch with you in the morning. We are eating when we get up to the cabin. And finally, Wear your new camp shirt on Thursday. If you need another size I do have a few left in different sizes that you can trade for. But let me know before Thursday as I will not be taking them with me to the church in the morning. OK! Girls Camp Kick Off!

Girls Camp Kick Off will be June 10th at 6:30 at my place.
4574 W. Warm Canyon Lane
Some of you recieved your invites at church last week and if you weren't there don't worry because I mailed them out.
I would really love for you all to come and bring your families. It's going to be so much fun.
We are going to be signing our first ever camp flag, going over all the details for camp AND eating of course. You guys are going to be passing off your "cooking outdoors" certification. Which mostly means hot dogs over the fire pit, but still yummy.
I will have some "swag" bags for you too.
It's going to be a fun night!

Possible Camp Date Change

Here is some news I just recieved. The dates have been changed but not confirmed to August 20-22 for now. I don't know why. I wanted to give you guys a heads up about it so you can check your schedules. It is the weekend right before school starts. I know that there are a ton of sports, trips etc. planned so let me know what your thoughts are on this!!
Also, we won't have another committee meeting until our new asst. camp director is called. I have given a name but we will see when she finally gets called. So I will let you know. I will post it here and let you know the Sunday before! -Thanks Lindsey for your post. Sorry it took me so long!

When is our next meeting? and sorry I wasn't there at the meeting, on wednesday, i had bingham regerstration and thursday a youth council meeting. Are the meetings usually wednesday before mutual??

We Have Our Own Blog For Camp!!!

Hey Girls!
We have our own blog for camp! I want any and all ideas on here for camp. This is where we will begin to brainstorm and get to planning. After everything is all planned and ready to go we will open this blog to the whole YW, but for now it will be commitee members only!
Camp is in June this year. The 18-20th. Let's get started!

First up- I would like to get together for our first meeting on Wed. (Feb 4th) before YW. So how about 6:30, and then we can all go to the church afterwards for the activity.
